That's a bit of hyperbole, but I support Squidoo because, well, just look at it.

It gets tons of hits, PR 8, Alexa ranking above 300, you can monetize it easily and it's community is very supportive.

Compare this to your brand new website, which has PR 0 and takes forever to get respect. Meanwhile, many Squidoo lenses get indexed and ranked in 24 hours or so.

You're going to want your own web site, but Squidoo makes for a great alternate site for content and funneling traffic, as well as powerful backlinks.

Squidoo isn't to be abused, but it is brilliantly designed to be used to boost your content to the top of the charts.

I've been working with Squidoo since 2008 and it's a great resource for content development, education and entertainment.

Since Squidoo itself is easy to use, but takes some time to learn all of it's great features, I created several lenses to help users get the most out of Squidoo.
